1635 WOODS DRIVE | LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
CASE STUDY HOUSE #22, universally known as The Stahl House, is one of the most significant residential works of the 20th century, a true cultural landmark immortalized through Julius Shulman's legendary 1960 photograph, later recognized by Time Magazine as one of the most influential images in the publication's 200-year history.
I grew up going to Fallingwater as a kid. Long before I understood what a career in design looked like, iconic architecture stirred something in me. Moving to Los Angeles over a decade ago, the Stahl House became part of the city I fell in love with — visible from hills, referenced in films, printed on walls.
Getting to work closely with the family, earn their trust, and steward the brand identity of one of the most significant homes ever built is not just a project. It's a privilege — and one of the great honors of my career.
